Cold Therapy

“Cold therapy” devices, often used by patients following surgical procedures have been linked to serious skin and nerve damage including frostbite. These devices comes with very little instruction as to how long the pack should stay on and come with no warning devices for when the device becomes too cold. Injuries can occur even if it is used as recommended.
